Odoo Inventory

One stock, your whole company watching it.

Almost no warehouse problem is a warehouse problem: it is that there are two truths. The shop's stock is not the website's, the marketplace sells what has already been sold, and the accounting valuation is worked out by hand once a year. Odoo Inventory starts from the opposite premise — one single stock per location, moves that record every step, and a valuation that posts itself with every entry and exit. We take it to the ground where it shows: real time across channels and replenishment that anticipates.

Real locations and real routes

Warehouses with their internal locations, receipts and deliveries in one, two or three steps, inter-warehouse transfers and dropshipping. The real operation of your floor, not a black box that only says how many units are left.

Lot and serial traceability

Lots or serial numbers with expiration dates and full traceability upstream and downstream: which supplier each unit came from and which customer it went to. In food, pharma or industry that is not an extra, it is the license to operate.

Replenishment that fires itself

Minimum and maximum rules by product and warehouse, counting each supplier's lead time, plus make-to-order when the answer is to produce instead of buy. On top we build forecasting that cross-reads sales and seasonality.

Valuation, with no manual closes

Standard cost, FIFO or average price, with the valuation posted automatically on every move. The warehouse value on the balance sheet is today's, not the one from December's last count.

Stock counts without stopping the floor

Cycle counts by location with their frequency, adjustments with their entry and their reason, and barcode scanning. Counting stops being a whole Saturday and becomes a twenty-minute routine.

One stock for every channel

Shop, web and marketplaces against the same inventory with our connectors: whatever sells in one is deducted in all of them on the spot. It is the difference between overselling and explaining it to the customer, or not having to.

Anonymous case — Retail and ecommerce

A single brain for the shop floor, online and marketplaces: stock, prices and demand forecasting unified with AI.

Questions we get asked

Can we work with lots and expiration dates?
Yes. You enable lot or serial number tracking on the products that need it, with expiration dates and alerts. From any lot you can see its full traceability: which receipt it came from and on which deliveries it went out.
Do we have to stop to take inventory?
Not if you use cycle counts: each location has its own frequency and gets counted by rotation through the year. Adjustments generate their accounting entry with the reason recorded, so a variance always has an explanation.
Does the warehouse valuation reach accounting on its own?
With automated valuation, yes: every entry and exit generates its journal entry under the costing method you choose (standard, FIFO or average price). That is what avoids the annual inventory snapshot that never matches the balance sheet.
And if we sell in the shop, on the web and on marketplaces at once?
That is exactly where our work comes in. Odoo keeps one single stock and our connectors sync it with each channel in real time, so none of them sells what another just took off the shelf.

The perfect inventory doesn't exist. An inventory that corrects itself before it fails does.
